The New River Chapter served GatorAde and water to the more than 900 participants in this years New River Marathon. The marathon, half-marathon and 5K runners all passed by our watering station on Railroad Grade Road at the entrance to Skyland Waters.

The blue marathon bibs were well past our post when a flurry of red half-marathon and green 5K bibs began to arrive en masse! It got a little harrowing as we had to send the red bibs right and the green bibs left to keep the runners on their assigned courses.

Thanks to Steve and Jim along with Mik Mikulan and James Bumgarner as well as Sharon Need and Cathy Ehrhardt for making our support another enjoyable day along the New River!
